Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Sales to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in B2B technology sales, with established contacts in the EdTech, FinTech, Publishing, and Healthcare industries. This role requires an understanding of various models: Managed Delivery Teams, outcome focused with fixed budget & time and strategy and business ideation engagements. They need a strategic thinker who excels in identifying and securing new business opportunities (“new logos”) and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. 
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. 
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts. 
  • Drive pipeline development and revenue growth. 
  • Engage with Marketing and Product Development departments to help ensure brand consistency and increase sales. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Previous experience as a VP of Sales or similar senior sales role. 
  • Strong contacts and the ability to network within the EdTech, FinTech, Publishing, and Healthcare industries. 
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. 
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. 
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services. 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
