Priyanka Killedar joined Tricon Infotech in 2021 after graduating from Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, but her learning didn’t end there. In addition to receiving on-the-job training in advanced Java programming, she saw an opportunity to specialize in a technology that was quickly becoming indispensable to the company and its clients: MuleSoft.
With support and guidance from Tricon’s management – which was eager to nurture talent and be able to deploy this growing tool – Priyanka devoted the next two months of her job to learning how to use MuleSoft. Her hard work paid off in the end.
“I grabbed the thing easily, and I cracked the exam.”
The new skills – and MuleSoft Certified Developer credential – allowed Priyanka to undertake valuable work for one of Tricon’s marquis publisher clients, using MuleSoft to connect the client’s various platforms and convert them into automated solutions.
“Tricon gave us time to learn, after that they gave a chance to work with the client directly.”
Now an Associate Software Engineer, Priyanka credits the company with giving her time to study MuleSoft and prepare for the exam. But a great deal of her success is due to the many available mentors, starting with access to the company’s most senior leaders and experts. “In other companies they will not get in a chance to interact with their CEO or CTO personally. But for us, we got we got to interact with our CTO every day.”
That level of learning and development that began at the beginning of her tenure has become one of the defining characteristics of her work.
“I feel like Tricon was giving us a path to learn continuously. It never stopped us for a single technology or single thing. It gave me an opportunity to learn many things here.”
